past 20 days gave been good personally as I travelled to my grandparents place.
without any physical symptoms. Except for intrusive thoughts. But since yesterday I started getting whole body wide pains. which is not allowing me to do exercise as well. I am able to do house hold chores. But not yoga. Also i feel a sense if dread an fear out if no where.
My pain level is 3/10 currently. i am unsure whether this is anxiety or something else like fibromyalgia. Every month i will be pain free for 7-10 days then few days of achy bod parts especially thighs, hips, knees, biceps. This pains bring on my health anxiety which i suffer from the past 2 yrs.
Any one going through thus. How are you coping.
Why do we get the pain episodes random without any cause. It would be good to know what us trigerring it. I am stuck in sofa this weekend with ni zeal to do anything.
Just wanted to add I don’t suffer from fatigue or sleep disorders.
I am experiencing these pains since 9 months out if no where they start of few episodes of panic attack and health anxiety scares.
Every month I suffer 7-8 days with pain.
My pain get better when I am outdoors either for work or any other work. Being at home make me experience my pains more.
I feel your pain (literally). This last episode started with twitching all over my body about 2 months ago. It has evolved to muscle pains. -almost like I worked out heavily the day before. My arms, legs, and neck are primary. Lifting a plate of food for more than 10 seconds seems burdensome at some points.
I have hypochondria when I get severe anxiety spells like this so of course I automatically get hypersensitive to anything that would lead me to something deadly.
I cope by proving to myself that I’m not actually weak. The pain/weakness comes on and off, unlike a repairing muscle that stays sore. I’m a 32yo male, physically fit, Industrial worker so weakness like this scares me which in turn makes it worse. Just know this is common and is caused by tension AND extended cortisone release. Magnesium and B-vitamins has helped also.
I hope this helps as I also would like for this to go away. -Deep breathes -positive thoughts
Thank you brad for the positive thoughts.
How long have you suffered fr pains. I suffered from Jan this year each month few days
I am thinking about getting some counselling for ocd which seems to be the root cause
I get it intermittently throughout the day in different muscle groups at random. This has been ongoing for 2 months now. I am getting an EMG done in a few weeks, so I expect my anxiety to peak until that day. I keep telling myself what I told you. It’s always good to get it checked out, but anxiety can do some crazy things to our bodies. Personally, I dont typically have anxiety and dont feel a build up of anxiety until it hits me out of nowhere and lasts for months, though I have had physical symptoms that came out of nowhere before (ie: left face tightness and go numb, palpitations, etc) so I know it can occur out of the blue.
Get it checked out and find ways to lower your stress/anxiety levels. I hope you get dealing better.
