6 weeks post op on weds , got my check up on the 20th June , want to get back to work asap but I work in a pub and will have to be on my feet a lot , also having to bend to get bottles from the fridges and changing barrels in the cellar, wondering what my chances are or if I will have to wait until the full 12 weeks restrictions are lifted
I would be very surprised if you were up to work at least until 12 weeks I you may get some good days feel really chuffed then couple of crappy days, it's very much what you are advised take care don't push it.

Greetings Barmaid, I was able to return to training Aikido, Boxing, and Jupo
After 6 weeks training at least one of these daily andriver some days both Aikido and boxing.
This included rolling out and then was doing breakfalls in judo @ 8 weeks.
Although my body already knew how to do these very well I would expect to be able to work. Just take it easy the first few days.
Good luck and enjoy your new painless legs.
Blimey, changing barrels! I'd make sure there was a big strong man to be doing that!
It sounds like you have a very physically demanding job,can you afford to work half shifts?Sounds like you will have to do stairs also.I would say to be very cautious and see even if to could take off a couple extra weeks
That sounds like a lot of very physical, hard work so soon. You know when your body is in pain and what the limits are. I know we all must get bored sitting around the house and not being able to do all we want to do. I would think take as much time as you need to heal. Wishing you well no matter what you decide. Hugs....Barb
I so agree to noplaybarbie post.
take care
