Sad to say that I have not done anything in 2 years to help my bv. I do not insert, take pills or anything else.
I've tried EVERYTHING
I have all of my receipts from trying all types of probiotics, suppositories, vitamins, prebiotics.
I've ordered so many products that I added the receipts that I found, all together added up to$2,563.23
And I know I'm missing a few...
BV is a man made Disease, they fix it when they want to.
I've had 12 different Gynecologist, some in Vegas, some in Detroit, Michigan. No one was able to help me.
I've done all of there regimens with Metro, Clyn and Find. Didn't work. I've done every home remedy. Didn't work
I am willing to give Secnidazole Solosec a try, but I don't know if the U.S has it yet. London does. ..
If anyone in the US suffers from BV, ASK your Gynecologist for Secnidazole if you can, if you can't get it, PLEASE LEAVE ME A REPLY OF WHAT YOUR GYN SAID...

I asked Mine. She said she had just heard of it that day and wanted to look into it before perscribing it. I went back a week later and she decided to give me metro for 3 months (I'm not taking it, it makes me very sick) and never let me try solosec.....I can't stand doctors sometimes.
You've tried apple cider vinegar soak? It's actually an antibacterial...my doctor said helps the pH levels and as far as probiotics you took the ones with the 4main strains to help promote a healthy Flora?
I do ACV tampons at night when I flare up. It only keeps it tolerable though. It doesn't fix it.

I tired Solosec sadly it did not give me one day of relief. I know two other girls on here that have tried it. 1 it gave relief for a month, the other it didn’t help at all. I live in the US.
ACV don't work at all for me...
Only probiotic I haven't tried is 400 Billion by Raw Probiotics Garden Life-34 probiotic strains-5 day max care.
It was approved by the FDA last November, but may not be covered by all insurance providers. I have no idea what the retail cost of it is. I am also a long term sufferer of BV. I've had it under control for a few months. And a few months before that (It came back after several months because I got cocky thinking it was gone for good and stopped my regime. Lesson learned.) so now I am sure to keep up my routine even though it's been gone for quite a while. My gyno says I'm not making any of the good bacteria myself. She doesn't know why. So, she treated me with the metro gel and once I was done with that, she has me inserting boric acid twice per week. She also has me drinking kombucha every day (or eating very natural yogurt). I've been doing those two things and have had no issues. Good luck!
Have you ever heard of the Isla Soap Stick? It’s like this herbal stick you insert into your vagina, and supposedly it makes it tighter and it treats BV. I’ve never tried it, but I’ve read reviews and it seems to work. However it’s located somewhere in Asia, but you can order it from the US. I’ll send you the link, maybe you can check it out? Not sure how legit it is though.
