So last night I went to a gig with my friends and felt like I had to leave due to the anxiety, I pushed through it because I never get to see those friends. After the gig, we went and got burgers and ate them at one of the guys houses and all of a sudden, an intense pain in my left bicep happened, it was hard to describe other than intense, I had to leave and when I got home, the pain was gone but I was in full panic attack mode and took a while to calm down, when I woke up this morning, the area where I had the pain was tender. Im terrified because I thought it was a heart attack but now I don't know, I was at the hospital for the same thing last month and the ECG and blood works came back clear but I'm beyond terrified, I'm only 22
Hi Ryan sorry your feel rough
It does sound like anxiety and as you have been checked out at the hosptal health wise your ok.
Anxiety sucks it comes in all shapes and sizes, you can go down the medication route, not everyone wants to take meds, therapy (CBT) meditation is good excersise and keeping yourself busy when one of these attacks come on.
I was sure I was having a heart attck but all test came back ok, these forum are great when you read about other peoples problems you know your not alone.
Stay Strong
Thank you very much for the advice, it was just a scary experience and I'm kinda new to Anxiety, only been experiencing panic attacks and the like for around 2 months.
I know how you feel Ive had depression for 16 years but the anxiety only started in December, its scaryI know
The good thing I read about you comment is you said that "you pushed through it" This is good because you didn't let the fear rule over you. I have read the more that we run from our fearful interpertations of events, the more fear imprints on our memories. Try self talking to yourself. "Is this really dangerous, or me thinking that I am uncomfortable in this situation" Us with anxiety feel it is dangerous, when in fact it is uncomfortable.
Thank you for the advice

Any symptom or ailment, even if it is obvious in cause, will trigger anxiety right now because your nerves are frazzled. As time goes on you will adjust and your frazzled nerves hopefully will calm down.you seem to realize it was a over reaction response to the strained muscle in your arm. Take one day at a time.
