It started as a slight cold 2 1/2 weeks ago and has stayed as an annoying cough. It seems to get worse as the day goes on and when there is phyiscial activity involved. I don't have any fever or anything else related. I don't normally get sick so it is now becoming increasingly annoying.

Usually if a cough like you describe lasts, then it is wise to see the doctor.

Thanks Dawn, I hope so too! I have made an appointment for the doctor today but need to wait a week so we shall have to hope it disappears before then :-)
Will you let me know what you find out? On this site we tend to care about and cheer on each other. We also learn from each other.

Hi Dawn, after waiting 45 mins after my appointment today I have been given an antibiotic to help clear my cough. It has nearly cleared up on its own so hopefully the antibiotic will fully clear it :-)
