Hey all,
Here a the quick facts about my situation. I am in my first long term relationship with my fiancé, and for a long time now she has made it clear that my dick tastes bad, so she won’t do oral. I am uncircumcised, however I’ve never had this issue with previous partners (none of them were long-term however). I have had occasional problems with yeast infection, although a new cleaning/drying regime will hopefully prevent that. I recently ended up at a sexual health clinic due to this were a professional examined me (first time this has happened), and they were shocked by the length and tightness of my foreskin, and recommended I consult a urologist about circumcision.
Talking this over with my partner she very much wanted it to be my choice, however she did let it slip that she was excited by the prospect of me being circumcised as this would (hopefully) stop the bad taste. I have a call scheduled with a urologist in a few weeks (UK).
My question is, admittedly my main motivation for circumcision is oral (I’ve had no serious infections, and not too much trouble with skin breakage due to tightness), will the urologist laugh me off the phone for giving this reason? Is circumcision a risky enough procedure (including any long term downsides) that I should have a better reason for doing it than not getting oral?
Thanks for reading, any input is appreciated.
