Well tomorrows the day for second THR -bag packed - waiting to phone up after 5 and find out what time I have to go in tomorrow- was last on the list last time 😢 hope it all goes as well as the first - goodbye pain (hopefully)

Hi Shirley best of luck!! How long ago was your first, just out of interest, as folks from abroad all seem to be waiting such a long time, a friend of mine in NZ cannot get it NHS there as he did not have an accident, and they wont do him, so the family is raking the cash for a private operation, and the price is same as it is here, NZ$ 22K, and £11.5K here, per hip, lots of people getting posponed, I feel so lucky to have had mine done in such a short time, really got my life back already, but will be great for our Poker festival in Nov Ha,,,Sitting down on the job for a week again, and some overtime to catch up with the expense of the two operations so close together.
