Are the red dots and spots itchy or painful?
- If they are mostly itchy or not painful, it could simply be thrush (candidal) balanitis from unprotected sex with a partner who has vaginal candida. Treat with Daktacort cream.
- If the spots are quite painful, then genital herpes is more likely. Treatment is with aciclovir tablets.
If you are not sure, then best to see your doctor.
