I Dont know what this is showed up about a month ago and I am sexually active please help
Daniel, I think you mean " Balanitis " and this is a simple way of describing the presence of irritation on the head or/and foreskin of the penis.
For most men dealing with issues like this is about having a good hygiene practice in place and this means washing the penis after urinating when you can, or when you cannot wash, use some toilet tissue to remove urine residue from around the meatus (your pee-hole).
What can happen when you are sexually active, and, depending on whether you always use condoms or not, is this are can become irritated by something it is in contact with. So are you using condoms or not?
I am currently not. Over the past week i have stopped having sex though and still not improvement.
The problem is that often the irritation that has led to this appearance to become obvious to us has existed for many years and therefore ‘change’ or ‘improvement’ is not a relative overnight thing.
The only way real improvement will occur is if you consistently put good practices in place so that the irritated skin is not further irritated, and then, it will have a chance to eventually look healthy again. This will take an extended period of months of doing ‘the good stuff’ and excluding everything that has caused this to occur in the first place.
So the essentials are: try to minimise contact with soap and other forms of body wash on your penis. Try to use water only when you wash the penis or during a shower, rinse away all body cleansers from the head area of your penis at the end of a shower. When you cannot wash your penis, such as when you are out of the house, either carry paper tissues with you or use toilet tissue to remove urine residue.
If you visited a Dermatologist they may prescribe a cream or ointment to help the skin to recover, but as the problem skin is so close to the Meatus you may cause another problem in the urethra or meatus itself.
As I say, by doing everything possible to help your skin revover you may notice some improvement in 5, 6 or 7 months rather that in 7 days or even 7 weeks …
