I first had a cyst in 2016 and had a marsupialization. I never got a cyst or an abscess again until about February 2019. They were smaller at first and would go away on their own but they’ve gradually been getting larger each month. I’ve noticed though, I only ever get them like 3-5 days before my period starts. I never get one unless I’m about to start my period. Has anyone else experienced this? I don’t know if there’s any correlation. I did find an article online that states there was a link between getting them around your period and endometriosis.
I have the exact same thing! I had Marsupialization done around 3 years ago and I only get a dull ache in the surgery site before my period. Recently it has felt very painful and I’m not sure how I should be treating it now as it has been operated on
