Well, so far so good. Been on a gradual back to work having had 13 plus weeks off of work. I am lucky that the school I work in has let me go back gradually. The first week I worked 0730-1100 then last week 0730-1220, next week two days 0730-1500 three days at 0730-1220.
I must admit I have been VERY tired and having to have a few granny naps in the afternoon.
This weekend I have started having leg cramping today and started a period. I am on hrt a Conti tablet and haven't had a period for two years so don't know what is going on.
Worst thing about having been away from school for so long is going back and catching a cough and cold.
Hi Barbara me too..its hard isn't it..I didn't do gradual days I went bk 7-30 -2 8-30 2 first day..so no nap for me
however have been so tired at tea time I haven't had a period since last Aug x
I started getting really congested about 2 weeks before my op... was due, real panic, as a usually end up with a cough lasting for weeks . GP checked me out a few days before surgery, said I was OK to go as my chest was clear. After my op was on oxygen which helped keep nasal passages clear but as soon as I came off oxygen the congestion returned. Been coughing and sneezing and blowing nose since them so a bit worried . 2 weeks post op... on Wed coming, tried to minimize any damage through pelvic floor exercise .
That's really good that your are graduating your return to work , hope all goes well !
Hi Barbara I'm back on my bike tommorow.for the first time since before Christmas.,😳
Good luck. Hospital discharged me last Monday. They had no answers for my weeks of vaginal entrance ulcers though 😞. Still a bit tender at times though.
I am almost 2 weeks post op... and on feeling really sore and irritated had a look and discovered two loose stitch ends. Looks like white nylon/ wire .Very annoying and looking red can feel as if it's going to ulcer. This did not happen last time. Have put cream on this site hoping it will soften the stitch!
Hi Phyllis
I've been told not to do pelvic floor excersises until week 5 X I was given a chart of dos and donts by the hospital x
Hi,
It may differ depending what you have had done. I had a repair at the front and back and was told as soon as my catheter is taken out and passing urinen normally , as advised by physiotherapists who came round ward and left a leaflet. You are probably best to follow advise as was given to you . Hope all goes well for you!
Well went in this morning expected to last till end of school day but have come home lunchtime again as so poorly with a cough and cold 😞
Sorry to hear that, hope it clears up quickly, don't forget to pull up and squeeze before you sneeze. Or cough.!
