Hi I have had a stitch like pain and sometimes burning in my right side for two months and had a pelvic ultrasound and been told I have a16 cm fibroid which they say is nothing to worry about I am peri menopausal and they say it will disappear by itself after me no pause is this so and in the mean time what do I do about the pain... I don't bleed at all as I have a merena coil....
Maybe the pain is lasting so long due to the coil. You shouldn't be in pain for two months... consider having it removed to see if the pain improves. As for the fibroid if it doesn't cause you any problems then just leave it alone.
Hi thank you for your reply.. Yes they did say the fibroid is just below the coil... and I wondered if the coil was even sitting right but they tell me it is and that the coil will help with menopause its been in 4 years and im not so sure... i have considered having it removed..
