hallo everyone , Ive been suffering with what I know now is anxiety related for over a year now , I litterly did every test I can fro. To my heart , to my stomach , blood tests , x rays , other scans ect , and all they could find is minor infection ,( that I had) and inflammation , and mild lumbar scoliosis to the right . Ive been doing fine the last few months but as of 2 weeks ago I had a massive pannic attack , it felt weird like I had pressure in the head , lightheaddedness and a heartrate of 140 , after the panic attack I just had these crazy symtoms again , from choming sensation , chest pain back pain , terrible muscle spasms all over my head that even hoes into my face and head , I try to stay calm but its difficult with these mind games in your head telling you this and that , I also get bad tremors and heart palpilation , Im only on ativan 1mg for the attacks but do u guys think I need a calming tablet . And does it rwally work , does it really take the pain away , cuase ive been crying trying to think what is this even though I now , it feels like you are bwing pushed towards the tip of death but not any farder , I just need to talk to someone who relates over these symtoms
How much Ativan do you take a day . keep in mind people will tell you that that's a bad drug to be on but if it does help than do what works for you .

I can definitely relate. I have suffered from Panic attacks for 20 years. Ativan is a benzodiazepine but not the one of choice for panic disorder. Xanax is the drug of choice for panic disorder and works better than any other benzo for it. Ask your doc if you can try it. Untreated anxiety can lead to depression. Do you see a psychiatrist? DO you feel depressed?

Years ago when I started have panic attacks Ativan helped me a great deal to ober come agoraphobia . but I do agree sometimes benzos do help better than srri drugs .how much Xanax do you take a day
