On citrilopram 16 days now on 10mg how much longer before they kick in properly have had some good days

Everyone is different but the average before they really start working is about 6 weeks, it could be less for you but when I first started it was 6/7weeks for me, I think we all want to be better overnight (well I did anyway) so learning to have patience was very hard, but stick with it xx

I have been on and off Citalopram for 8years (I chose to come off it to have my children). Last October my anxiety came back really badly so I had to go back on 20mg and it took about 6 weeks, but I wasn't talent my meds regularly (which was so stupid of me) so about 3 weeks ago I had an awful bout of anxiety so my Dr upped my does for a few weeks to 30mg and I had side effects but I'm not taking it at the same time everyday so I'm hoping I will start to feel better soon, I didnhave a goodish day today but hate going to bed as I don't sleep well and I hate having terrible dreams, but I'm trying to relax before bedtime, hope tomorrow is better for you
