Been taking estelle duet for 8 days got really bad water retention in my ankles

as any1 had this side effect and any tips on how to reduce swelling or should I see my gp or wait till my 3mnth is up..thank you

Hello BettyBoo  I would go to your GP and discuss with him, dont stress yourself out in waiting.  You are the only one that knows your body so any side effect could be potentially dangerous so seek medical advise.  When you read the side effects on all medication I dont think any of the people would take it.  Be safe and at peace of mind for yourself.  Take care and all the best

I started taking Estelle duet 11 days ago and like you after the first week i had water retention but it seems to have gone now but i am getting lots of pains in my legs so very confused

I've finally realised that some forms of estrogen supplement cause water retention for me but others don't.

When I do have a water retention problem, I try to do this exercise, it seems to help: 10 'squats', 3 times a day.
