I can do about 1 to 2 hours work in morn then lie down fo few hrs then maybe an hr in aft I've been told by consultant that tiredness has nothing to do with ckd as this has been going on for a year and I won't see him for another 6 moths I'm very worried Appreciate advice

Of course tiredness is part of CKD. My eGFR is down to 8 and I get very tired.
I would suggest you change your renal consultant has he/she is misleading you

Linda, I would think it's quite possible for stage 4 to cause fatigue as some symptoms can start appearing even in the lower stages of CKD3b. However, other things can also cause such tiredness. If you haven't already had them, it might be worth asking your GP to run a range of blood tests, for instance checking your thyroid function, hormone levels and your iron levels, also your Vit D levels - many people with reduced kidney function are low in Vit D.
CKD stage 4 of course you will be tired. Your blood count would be low.
Get a proper kidney specialist and have complete blood test. They can prescribe self injections if your blood count falls below 100.
One of the causes of low blood counts, including red blood counts, is CKD. See your doctor or a hemotologist about getting injections of Procrit or some equivalent drug. It will result in higher red blood count levels and less tiredness.

The guys on here are giving you good advice. Doctors are not gods as was thought by our parents, if you are not satisfied with the service you are receiving you're are allowed to seek another doctor's advice.

I would ask for a different renal consultant, as others have said tiredness is part of kindney failure. My own GP told me not to be silly and that every one who worked got tired not just me!. I had 9% GFR at the time. Before I started dialysis I would only need to sit down and I would fall a sleep I would be in bed at 7.30pm. This started at the end of stage 4 for me, although everyone is different. I also lost my appetite I couldn't even look at food it made me sick, my poor husband was desperate to get me to eat and would go out and buy all sorts to try and tempt me. After I started dialysis it took about 3 months for me to feel a bit better. The bit where you are in limbo (end of stage 4 begining of stage 5 before you start dialisys) is the worst bit as there is nothing anyone can do to ease it for you. My iron dropped and my blood levels so iron tablets didnt work and so I had an iron infusion and a shot of EPO that helped a little. Hang in there what you are feeling is horrible but normal and it is part of the CKD. Good luck and take care xx
