Been trying to sleep since 2:30am!

What the hell man!? I've been trying to sleep since 2:30am! It's now 5 am! This is bull crap! It's like my body fights me not to go to sleep! I'm affraid of psychosis, and some douche said insomnia causes it! Now I clear my mind, I try to relax, but my heart races and pumps hard, and it's just not letting me go to Sleep! I hate This! I shouldn't have had that nap between 1pm and 3pm yesterday. I haven't had an 8 hour sleep in a few days Now! I don't get why! I've been relaxed, I've been very chilled, not anxious at all, but I can't sleep well!

We must be in the same time zone.  I used to worry about sleep but now I don't.  I catch a few hours here and there.  Have you looked into getting a sleep study done?

How is it going? Consider taking a long walk to calm down your mind before going to bed. Take a break from using social media and watching the news for a week or so if it's possible.

If your sleep does not follow a regular  times you will find difficulties getting to sleep and awaking next morning.

I would recommend you go to bed at the same time each evening and arise in the morning at the same time

Irregular sleep, prevents sleep. Many people, adults do not need eight hours sleep each evening many need around six hours. Some people can get away with four hours, this is rare however.

if your having trouble falling asleep you can try valerian root. trust me take it 1 -2 hours before you decide to go to sleep and I promise you you will get so full night sleep. trust me i have anxiety so bad im whole body been numb and tingling since for months now. my body vibrates when trying to fall asleep so i use that. so i use valerian root it's known to calm down nerves and make you sleepy so take it at night im trying to get rid of anxiety by myself I refuse to take medicine so i wish you the best and hope it gets better

Have you tried to do breathing exercises? They can be very effective for falling back asleep in these situations..

yes tablet form. i get the sundown valerian root 549 mg for bed but if your anxiety messing with you during the day you can take 200mg to calm you down and i take one when i wanna go to bed. you can try one and if it doesnt work you can try two good luck

Tried 1 last night 400mg. It made me sleepy, so it did Work! I heard you can build a tolerance towards them though.

i have been taking them for months and i still dont have a tollerance towards them but if you start to you can always take another one

I've been experiencing with them. They are good. 1 relaxes me and makes me sleepy, but not too sleepy. I can continue to watch YouTube all night if I want. Now 2, 2 makes me pass out without even noticing! I had no idea what time I passed out! They are good. Thanks!
