I had unprotected vaginal and oral sex with new partner March 20. On April 26th, I started To breakout on my facial lips. I have had a total Of 6-7 breakouts since. I seen over 20 doctors( Pcp, Dermatologist, OBYGN, dentist ectt) & they said it doesn't look like herpes & I couldn't get them swabbed bc the lack of fluid in them. I did have fluid in my first two breakouts. I got tested for Herpes Simplex IGG 1 & 2 at 6 Weeks Post Exposure It was negative with index of <0.2. I retested at 11 weeks Post Exposure it was negative again with same index of <0.2. My doctors think that since my index value was same on both test then I can't have HSV bc if I did my antibodies will be increasing. However, I don't believe that to be the case. Is there any possible way to know if I Hsv besides blood test & swab ??? im also attaching pictures. they are blurry so can't really see the bumps. [](https://)
there’s genetic testing for herpes as well. they can get some of your dna and run it in the labs to see if you are a carrier for it.
