Today Ally got an award at prizegiving for woodwind. She plays clarinet. Good job we have the attic for her to practice in :P
So when you move in Trees you can accompany her on the piano

My doctor has actually lisened too me today and going to take action, that will hopefully help me with my headaches/burning/pressure. :? He is refering me to a neurologist.
And I've just found a new jar of Horlicks stashed away in the back of the cupboard :D
Hey LouLou .... that's great news! Help at last .. hopefully :D
The sun is actually shining today and the forecast for the next few days is great :D
Hi everyone by the way. Hope you are all okay :? It's very quiet on here :?
To some this may not sound positive but it is for me.
I have decided to do a charity cycle ride through Vietnam next year for http://www.c-r-y.org.uk/index.htm in memory of my son Simon.
In the hope that other parents and families can be spared the grief and emotional turmoil that Sudden Adult Death syndrome and Sudden Cardiac Death brings.
That is wonderful, I envy and admire you :D

Excellent, let us know how we can sponsor you when the time comes.
This is positive - it could happen to any of us. I am so sorry you lost your son. How old was he and when did it happen?
HI there Chimera, everyone.
Bless you, and good luck with your challenge xx
Suddenly someone passing, yes this can be a awful thing as my cousin was 19 and she died with no explanation she felt sick one minute and then she was on a life support machine, and still to this day we are not sure what happened........bizzare thing is she was at Uni doing forensic science and yet the coroner had no idea why she had died......just natural causes  and I was unable to say goodbye to her, my auntie her Nana was on a family holiday with my other auntie's and she had to get a flight home as it was as quick as that......I believe Jamie is in the garden with my Nana (her great Nana) having a cup of tea and the sun is shining.... My cousin her mum has only started coming out of her house I suppose time can be a healer but memories do hurt but can make us smile too.
Take care everyone xxxxx
Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this thread - just wanted to join in with the \"feel good factor\" of this forum.
For those that don't know about me ---> http://experience.patient.co.uk/discussion.php?t=22792

Thank you for sharing your story and your grief. I have a son of 28 and one of 26 and I have worked with families who have lost sons and daughters. Nothing gives me the right to say that I can imagine how it must have felt because I cannot, but I appreciate what you have told us and I am thankful that you are as well balanced as you sound, considering the grief, guilt and shock you must still be feeling.
Your continued recovery is definitely something for our 'positive' thread.
Thank you everyone and thank you Alicia - (I did have a chuckle) no one has ever described me as well-balanced before.
I won't consider it positive when the training aches & pains start.
Right, come on some more positive comments here ....
This is positive... I had my bushes :xmastree: :rose: trimmed today
