I dont know if this is a perimenopause sympton or a plain stomach issue..but my belly button is tender when i touch it. I' ve had this problem some months ago, but it usually comes around my ovulating time. Is there any such thing as no symptons at all? Its like one thing leave then something else or new pops up. If you've experienced sore belly button or have any idea what causes this please let me know.
Hi Mary.. .
I too have experienced this and noticed it a few months ago.
I think it could well be connected to perimenopause as I've noticed lots of changes myself.
Hope this helps
Dora
Hi Mary, yes it's a symptom. Suggestion if it hurts don't keep poking at it. It will come and go as it is a hormonal symptom, one of many more to come. Take care.
Hi Mary, do you have a belly button that sinks in like mine that water can get in that could cause soreness..if not other wise it's the menopause..check with your Dr if it doesn't stop ok.
