Hi guys.

I've been on Benepali now for around 8 months. It has worked great for me and it's all I take apart from regular paracetamol. However I have noticed my joints seem to be sore. Especially my knees and elbows and the paracetamol doesnt really seem to touch it. It's funny cos these joints didn't hurt before hand. I wonder if it's a side effect

I am not familiar with those medications. However, I do know that AS can affect all your joints. I suggest talking to your Dr. You might be having a flare up.

Have you had your vit d levels checked? Also ask doc about supplements for your joints😊

Thanks for your reply. You may well be right but it seems to be happening all the time lately.

I have never had my Vit D levels checked as far as I know. I Have an appointment on 4th June though so will mention it then. Thanks for your reply :-)
