I saw my GP today and asked if I could try Bentyl

for the terrible cramps I get . Doctor said they don't prescribe it .

I've been on Mebeverine for years which isn't helping now .

Anyone know of anything else that I could try ? I take windeze ,

again they don't help .

have you tried Buscopan that works well for me but don't take too many or you will get constipated. Some people find peppermint oil helps

I taken Colpremin (pepper mint oil capsules) I do know some people do have problems with it though

try it instead of rather than as well as meberine

Mebeverine was very toxic for me so I stopped it and tried Buscopan instead which worked for me with no side effects..

Hi , Buscopan does nothing for me. I can't take peppermint

as it upsets my hiatus hernia .

Hi Linda can I find out why you were taking Mebeverine? It was meant to help which ibs symptom?

Hi Sam,

I take mebeverine for IBS but when I get the cramps they don't help .

An er doctor prescribed my Bentyl. Works wonders. I'm not sure of any others meds they have though
