For someone like me, struggling with my new diagnosis of IBS, I was curious as to which Laxitive or Stool softener works the best for constipation from other people with this issue? Is one safer than the other? Any advice will be helpful. :-)
Please consult your physician for a safe laxative. My spouse was scripted Doc-O-Lace. Over the counter laxatives can be very rough on your system and deplete your necessary nutrients. Good luck!
I have been taking DOCUSATE SODIUM 100 MG CAPSULES. 2 × Twice daily. Prescribed by my doctor. Been taking them for a few years now. Work well for me. It's worth a try. Best wishes.
