I have been taking my daily dose of 30mg at about 5 pm. Is there an optimal time?

It can be taken at any time as long as you’re consistent. I take mine at 9.30pm along with other medication that has to be taken in the evening. The suggestion is that if it makes you sleepy to take it on a night and if it causes sleeplessness to take it in the morning to prevent insomnia as a result of the meds.
