I have heartburn after gallblader removal from second week.i am now in 57 days. I take sulfacrate and it helps a lot but I have still heartburn some hours of the day .I was looking for the surgery demeester switch. has anybody done that ?I am very interesting to know how is life after surgery.
I had gallbladder removal surgery about 7 or 8 years ago. I didn’t really notice anything after until this year I have more acid reflux and fatty stools which since the drs can’t figure out what’s wrong with me I’m assuming it has a lot to do with my gallbladder removal. I ate like crap almost all the time before and after and still drank occasionally. I would definitely recommend eating a healthier diet and try not to drink at all. Try to stay away from spicy foods and slowly reintroduce them so your body can get used to missing an organ.
it's bile redlux mine not acid. bile refluxing to my stomach and had done acute gastritis. still not alckaline I am very early.This gives me bloating and indigestion due to change of ph of stomach becomes more alckaline with bile reflux.I also have heartburn stomach chest chin and throat. I think is a sitouation that doesn't change .only with a surgery that is called ds demeester switch.Carafate does minimize my symptoms but still present and not be able to live my life.
