Hey, I've just stared taken paroxetine 10mg today, I also take the birth control pill, does anyone know if this will affect my pill?
As far as I know with ssri the pill won't work,so if u don't want to get pregnant use a condom...
SSris don't effect the pill at all. I used sertraline and the pill for 5 years when I come off the pill to try for a baby I got pregnant rite away. It's fine .
My doctor told me my pill will not work with ssri's due to the chemicals in the medication cancelling each other out.
