Bisoprolol

Hi everyone so I've been on sertraline for about two months now, and although I'm a lot better than I was I'm still not fully myself. One of the main things still bothering me is increased heart rate so my doctor has prescribed me with 1.25 mg of Bisoprolol fumarate and I'm just so scared I'm gunna die if I take these. Can anyone reassure me

Hi dear

I was so scared of the sides effects when I started to take them.Don’t stress dear… Don’t think negatively when u take them. Just be normal.

Thanks for the response, I’m just scarer that it will slow down my heart rate too much haha

How long did it take to do anything? And did u feel awful when starting or was it okay

I don’t remember having any problems. I don’t feel any different then I did before I was on it. You only taking 1.25 is a really small does especially if only once a day. My cardiologist says I’m on a low does at 5 mg a day so 1.25 is not that much. But medication effects everyone differently.
