pain in bladder area after several utis.
All after a bout of diverticulosis four months ago treated with flagyl.
Have Had bladder and kidney ultrasound and all well. Not sure if problem is bladder or bowel related.
Nocturia is coming and going but bowel moves daily. Diverticular pain is slight at present but scared it will escalate.
What do i do. Sitting tight at moment as have anxiety and its through the roof.
Virtual colonoscopy has been suggested, can it be done during flare up?

How many UTI's have you had recently? Diverticulosis wouldn't really cause uti's. If you don't mind me asking how old you are?
Diverticulosis could be causing trapped wind/gas.
The frequent uti's (presuming it's been 2 or more in the past 4 months) can be a sign that some thing is there to cause them.
When you had the ultrasound did they look any where else?
Have you had a large change to you're diet? And do you drink alcohol or smoke?
The weirdest question of them all, and forgive me for asking, would you be sure enough to know the difference between ovary pain/discomfort and bladder pain/discomfort? Many women get them confused on occasion. Did the doctors look at youre ovaries when doing the ultrasound?
Also sorry, how did you know it was divirticulosis? Ultrasound, colonoscopy or x ray?
If it were colonoscopy, you can have symptoms from that alone for weeks or months later. Are you taking any medication for your belly?
If you are not taking any medications, try taking some omniprazol for a while (just check with you're doctor first).
If you are taking medication, what are you taking?
