i`ve been diagnosed with LS about 5 years now,last year i had 3 prolapses repaired in one operation,since then my bladder is lazy! i waot til i`m absolutely bursting for a wee and when i get there......nothing!i have to huff and puff and squeeze to get any wee out.i mentioned this last December when i had my 6 month check up and he arranged for me to have a flow test which showed that i kept stopping to push etc,he said i had a "floppy bladder" i have since read about the prolapse procedures and in America they have stopped using mesh(which i believe i had put in).Today i receivd a letter out of the blue from the hospitalto arrange for me to have a telescope inserted into my water passageto see if there is a blockage! why were my notes being looked at 2 months after i had been discharged and told to learn to live with it??has anyone come across anything like this before? i feel this is something else related to ls issues.thank you for reading all this x

I dont want to scare you, but you need to go to the dr. I had a condition like this. It is called urinary retention. You must get the urine out of your bladder. You can permanently damage it. You will need to use catheters until your bladder can empty on its own. Please seek help TODAY if you cant urinate.

It might very well be related to LS Susan.  I've had similar issues in the past.  It proofed to be very important for me to start regular dilation.  Which I still do twice a week.  If I don't then the problem reoccurs - the stream weakens and it takes forever to empty the bladder.
