Hi, Just starting this week i have noticed blood after i wipe when i have went to the toilet to get rid of the mucus. on Wednesday there was blood when i wiped on Thursday there wasn't today there was. the blood is bright red and i haven't had it bleed up until now. Is this something to worry about?
HI adam - I also had an Ileostomy and bleeding was common either from the rectal stump or hemorrhoids. Once you’ve had the reconnection or the stump removed the bleeding will stop.
I’d give the IBD Nurse a call.
