Bleeding Longer than Usual & I'm Worried :/

I've an irregular menstural cycle here & there but for the past few years it's been really until recently; I've missed my period for a whole month then when it decided to come it came spotting for a few days then it finally came. I'm use to having cramps this time NO cramps, I'm use to having it for 3/4 days it's been a week now sad, one minute it will be heavy bleeding & the next I would barely see anything ... I'm confused, worried, scared & I don't know what else ... someone please help me.

Well, I wrote you a long post but for some reason my computer froze and I lost all of it...basically, I said you should see your doctor or OBGYN to make sure you don't have an underlying problem.  I had fibroid tumors inside my uterus and they were pressing against my uterus giving the signal it was time for a period...that happened at random...so, I either always had to wear a pad (ick) because I couldn't use a tampon just waiting to bleed.

I kept tract of the bleeding for three months and gave the info to my doctor and she said (after having some tests) that the uterus and one ovary had to be removed or I'd be in danger of becoming very anemic...which I was at that time.

So, please follow up with your doctor because we can tell you our experiences, but, until you know what exactly is going on with you, you're going to be worried all the time.  Good luck and please let us know how you're doing.

Warmly

Oh my, thank you very much I will get on this as soon as possible. I hate being in the state of worrying sad & since you was able to find out what the issue was if you don't mind me asking are you still bleeding? & because of it is there any complications?

I didn't want you to worry more, I merely wanted to let you know that there could be underlying problems.  As far as me bleeding still...I had a full hysterectomy with the exception of one fallopian tube so afterwards, there was nothing to bleed from.

I fell good in regards to that but I'm suffering from sarcoidosis and sjogrens disease those both attack the immune system thus making me tired all the  time.

Good luck, let me know what the doctor says...I wish you well.

You are very welcome.  I can understand your concern because I did infact deal with the same situation.  It is fixable!
