bleeding on Esmya

Hi Ladies I've been on Esmya since the 18th of May took about 20 days for my bleeding to stop. I'm due a period and have just started bleeding. I thought while I was on this I would have no bleeding. Has anyone else had this and is this normal thanks

Hi Julie, I am on my second box of Esmya and I did not have a period since, my period has stopped since I started using it, I also don't feel that my fabroid is shrinking! I had an ultra sound today it has grown a bit! My GP told me that I might have periods and might not have any. I hope it works for you.

That's helpful as I wasn't sure f it was ok to have a period I'm due to see my consultant on the 11th Thank you x

Hi, I think the bleeding pattern can be quite erratic, I have taken it 3 times, the first course I stopped bleeding completely, but with the other two I bled lightly . This is not menstrual bleeding though as I am supposedly menopausal, the bleeding is from the fibroids. Also, the shrinkage with me seems to occur mostly in the 3rd month, in the second course not much, with the other two I had significant shrinkage.
