I have already posted this but will repeat. I am asking if anyone was taking gabapentin and went off of it and was experiencing bloating or some pain in the abdomen perhaps due to the side effects of going off of gabapentin?

Did you stop the Gabapentin abruptly or did you wean yourself off them..If you stopped abruptly and have been taking Gabapentin for some time you will feel ill as your system has not had time to adjust to the absence of the drug....
I was prescribed pregabalin because of an undiagnosed stomach pain initially caused by antibiotics. Doc prescribed me these thinking it might be my nerves acting up that caused the pain. Anyways it didnt help. To answer your question if you have been using it for long then definately you will have withdrawl symptoms because body got used to feeling relaxed after taking the meds, it will feel agitated after suddenly withdrawing medicine like these. Dont worry these symptoms will go away.
