Today marks the 7th day after surgery, and last night and today I've been passing large amounts of blood and blood clots for twelve bowel movements so far. It's been getting more frequent, and I have to pass a lot of blood every 10-20 minutes. The ER wanted me to wait until my appointment with my surgeon today, anyone have this problem or have advice until then? Please help.
I would go to the er that doesn't seem normal to be passing that much blood! Yes some but that sounds excessive
Also remember I said that the 8th day came at me with a vengeance. I felt awful for I think it was 2 days thought I was gonna die. But the blood thing is strange I didn't have that???
Hi John go to the ER for your own peace of mind. My surgeon told me everyone is different but to be safe get this bleeding checked out. I wish you well and having had post surgery problems myself I know how worried you feel.
