Hello all, I am 44, soon to be 45. I have been going through this nightmare now for almost ten years. I was wondering if any of you got blood clots during your period as you got closer to the end of having periods? Does this mean that I'm close to having my last period? My flow is darker this time and I saw one small clot? Is it possible that this is my last one?
Hello, I have had clots when I have skipped a period. Probably will get them soon myself…on day 44 now…ovulating with nothing but brown spotting over weekend. Darker periods too sometimes means old blood. I think when your periods become further apart, you are nearing the end. HOWEVER, so many women have gone 11 months then get one. mother nature is a cruel sometimes! Just keep on keeping track!
I have many thick blood clots.. Not sure if it means anything but I have noticed more and more the last few periods. Mine are so heavy so I take an iron supplement a few times a week just to make sure I’m not anemic.
Oh wow! I did just skip a period. It was supposed to come on towards the end of the last month but I didn’t get it until yesterday. I usually go every 21-25 days but this time it was more like 32.
yep! Same here 21-26 days since May. I’ve gone 57 days, so I am sure it will come!
Yes, I did as I got closer to the end of my period. Mine were huge and my periods were long had one that lasted 17 days, but I didn’t bleed heavily that entire time, BUT I have fibroids and thats why my clots were so big. I started taking a tablespoon of Unsulphered Blackstrap Molasses and boom! No clots and period back to five days until it ended in November 2010.
Yes I have heard that black strap molasses was good for fibroids and beet root extract is good for low iron when bleeding heavily. I have some beet root extract but I will get some black strap molasses and see how it works. Thanks for the tip.
How often did you take the molasses? Only on your periods or through the whole month
I took it every day until my periods stopped.
Okay thank you. I will try this.
It definitely worked for me. ![]()
