Just disc my results online via Drs surgery. All above normal range but I am interested in how they might compare with other people results. Any comparisons would be gratefully read. Caution regards reading mmol/mg/L/do. Thanks
Serum Urea 10.1 mmol/L
Urine Albumin 1076.9 mg/L
Urine Creatinine 5.1 mmol/L
Urine Alb/Creatinine ratio 211 mg/mmol
Dr wants the above retreating
Just interested to know where these results sit in the terms of "badness" hope I do not sound too negative I just like the overall picture in comparison. Many thanks to all that might share their info.
Hi Terry
You would have to compare these results with your previous ones. If they look pretty much the same then this is normal for you at the moment and may improve with time unless they are worsening.
They are obviously abnormal and show renal impairment but your case is slightly different.
I expect when you first had your accident you went into organ failure, resulting in your kidney problem, I suspect you are still recovering as you said to begin with your egfr was 20 and now has improved.
You need to get a GP appointment and discuss with them or your nephrologist asap so you have an idea of what is going on.
Good luck.
Jane
Just had another look at your results when were they taken? As according to the calculations your egfr is now 12 ?
If this is right and this is most recent blood test you need to phone your GP first thing tomorrow. I am suprised they didnt phone you.
Let us know how you get on
Jane
Thanks go has referred me.cheers
The egfr calc at same time from same blood was 31 with a cr cl of 175 how do you arrive at 12?
So sorry ignore that post just realised it was URINE test lol not a blood test ...phew!
There is an app you can download from the National Kidney Foundation
It has egfr calculators and also a tool to which shows your kidney function blood and urine ratio which them suggests at which stage you are.
Its quite informative give it a go.

No prob Jayne easy done!
Having said this according to recognised methodology cr/cl of 175 equates to egfr 43
Why they say 35 I don't know
Last 2 years was 44 47 36 54 more recent last 12 months 36 31 35 having said that I have been in rehab learning to stand and walk after 2 1/2 years sitting which has been exhausting me I also had chest infection and was eating lots of protein to try lose weight
Will do sounds good.thanks
