Ry, if this does not clear up and continues you should see your doctor. Blood patches like these can indicate something going wrong with your blood. You may need a blood test to assess your platelets.
Just reread your article and you say you have had them for 6 weeks now. I think it is time to talk to your doctor.
Update:
Just in case anyone else here is is suffering from a similar rash!
I have been the doctors and have been diagnosed with Pityriasis Rosea, But also have been advised to have blood tests to rule out other conditions such as kidney issues or blood issues which i done today and am now just waiting on the results.
I have had the rash for several months now and it did continue to spread to other parts of my body such as my trunk and hands. Some spots now seem to be disappearing but very, very slowly.
Hopefully it is coming to an end now.
how are you now friend?
My bloods came back normal apart from my clotting test which come back borderline raised. I have to get a repeat blood test to see if it has lowered and was maybe a false result.
Rash has now started to clear, Its cleared on my Hands, Arms, Trunk and mostly from my thighs just leaving it on my feet now. No new ones have appeared for a long time now and is clearing ever so slowly.
I do believe it was Pityriasis Rosea which does clear on its own but very slowly.
