hi just looking for some advice! I'am a 27yr old male. last week i had a routine checkup at the dentist were he found a lump under my jaw that he wanted my gp to look at! the gp said its a swollen lymph node and took some bloods! I got a text with the blood results saying bloods were fine apart form white blood cells looked reactive which normally indicates a viral infection! other the a chest infection i had a few weeks back i feel fine! can anyone shed any light on what it could mean?
Hello Johnny, did you have your MMR vaccine as a child? There appears to be a lot of mumps around, that was my first thought when I read your post but presumably your GP would recognise it but possibly not if s/he is young.
Perhaps someone else will have a better idea. Good luck

i assume i had the vaccine i remember having vaccines in school. as for the gp shes been my doctor since childhood so i think she would know the symptoms.

Interesting you have remained me the story about the black box that after describing its size, colour and weight we asking what its content so you asked . should you provides your blood results it will be a lot simple to discover your condition
hi johel62695 i dont have a copy of the bloodwork results! i just recived a text message from the GP which stated the above about white blood cells being reactive!
