hi im new here and hoping someone can help me i am currently on 125 throxine

my results are

serum tsh level 28.68 miu/l above range

plasma parathyriod 10.1 above

serum sodium above range

serum bilirum above

vit d below help what does this mean

How did you get this information. My doctor just reduces or increases mine without a word!!

Hi, I would have thought that your medication for your hypothyroidism was on the low side but the high parathyroid levels would have indicated that your parathyroid glands needed checking.I am having a parathyroid gland scan this Friday as my levels are high and also my calcium levels. I wad told to take increased vit D some years ago to increase the absorption of calcium which seemed to work for a time. Hope this may be helpful. MaggieW

i got the information off of my blood test results i asked for a copy and Maggie thankyou i will get the gland checked out i also take vitamin d daily my doctor seems unsure of what the problem is hence why i asking others thankyou for your comments jane
