I'm due to come off block and replace soon, my original readings from September 2013 were TSH 0.08, T4 61.3 and T3 36.4 I'm pretty good now so I'm really hopefully that I'll ne ok when I come off medication!!!!! Has anyone else had similar readings and had a good result at the end? Xx

i was t4 97 an t3 33 and tsh 0.1 in Apr 2013 - I have just had a month of block and replace and feel great being off the tablets - just lovely not taken so many tablets. My eyes are still very sore and I am tired if I do too much, so still building my stamina up. I am having a blood test soon to see how I am getting on. So far very positive and I hope to return to work and a normal life again after months of illness - high blood pressure, severe anxiety and endometrial cyst removed. Since the cyst went I feel a different person.

Hello Tennab, I was on block & replace from 2008 until mid 2010 and was fine until mid 2013, when it flared up again. Against all advice, I went back on b&r as I'm against RAI and surgery. So far so good and even my thyroid eye disease is ok. I'm blaming my recurrence on severe stress at the end of 2012 and start of 2013 as well as my sudden intake of a medication containing aspartame. So my advice is to stay stress-free (difficult, I kow, but I went on a stress management course) and to stay away from all things containing aspartame!
