I recently had bloods done as i was having irregular and heavy periods, plus moods all over the place. I dont have night sweats to date. I dont understand what the blood results indicate, i wondered if anyone has experience of these (i'm 52):
FSH 37.8
LH 13
Oestradìol 200
Thyroid TSH 1.85
From your age and symptoms, it sounds as if you are menopausal. I don't know anything about your first three readings, but with your thyroid, the reading should be as close to zero as possible. However, your doctor will be able to give more details as to your levels.

Does it matter that my bloods were taken on day 11 of my cycle (rather than day 3)?
My doctor said he was happy to start me on HRT as i would be going into menopause in the next 2 years but he didnt go into any details about what any of the figures meant, hence me asking on here. I was just a sobbing mess when i went to see him.
