Blood test results :(

Hi I have been feeling unwell for a while now - feeling dizzy and faint, terrible wind and frequent urination.  Lots of checks by my GP including a blood test for my thyroid.  The results are:

The TSH was 2.24 mu/l and FT3 was 12 TMOL/L.  Havent a clue what this means but wanted to share in case someone can shed some light on it.

Can't get to see my GP for 9 days so wanted to ask for any help on here.

Many thanks in advance. Jean

Each lab has their own range for normal beside your results for each lab test.  Your TSH would be within the normal range in any lab and I am uncerain about your FT3 but I think it probably is within the normal range as well.  Whatever you have, I don't think it is hyperthyroidism.

TSH looks normal but FT3 is very high if the reference range is the same as my lab (3.1 - 6.8) so that would give you hyper symptoms.

Why don't you call the lab that did these test results and ask for the normal ranges for each test?
