Glucose, testing for type 2 diabetes?
Cbc blood test, with chemistry. This test is used to find and diagnosis many problems, the metabolic testing side for instance your calcium range is important to detect many problems such related to bones, heart, nerves, kidneys, and teeth and thyroid problems as well as malabsorption.
Evidently, my calcium level is a bit low. The doctor has prescribed a supplement.
The low calcium has not seemed to have had much of an effect. I did not suspect low calcium, or, indeed low anything
I wonder if I can stop the supplements after I have taken the course - one month.
ps. What does cbc mean?
Sure you can stop the calcium. Lots of studies show calcium supplement leads to increased heart diesease.
Cbc means complete blood count. That's what they call it here in US. In UK it's FBC or full blood count.
It's used to check white, red, and platelet cells and much more.
Thank you
