Blood when I pee

I'm suffering from another flare up of diverticularitist and on antibiotics, however yesterday I noticed when I pee there is quite a bit of blood both in toilet and when I wipe myself, any ideas? 😚

Are you on the tail end of mentruation?....if not i suggest you see your doc..you may have a urine infection.....or may need to see a Urologist to investigate your bladder ........best wishes...

Thanks for your reply Lillian, I know it's not menstration blood, it is through my urine, you know how you can tell the difference with the colour, not trying to be crude xxx

Then you should see your doc and be referred to a Urologist who will carry out tests to see if all is well with your kidneys and carry out a cystoscopy to investigate that all is well with your bladder..best wishes....

You were right Lillian I've to go and see a urologist, and because my sister sadly passed away from kidney disease I've to have that checked also, I heard the tests at the urologist are very painful, anyone else been for them, advise would be reassuring 😏

I did not experience any pain as i was anaesthetised for the cystoscopy..just gave urine samples and had a CT scan

.....none of the investigations i went through were painful...you will be fine.....best wishes fir a speedy diagnosis...

I got my cystoscopy, and you were right wasn't as bad as I thought, doctor thinks I have an infection so took swabs and will get back to me ASAP. Thanks again
