I am wondering if normal blood work would indicate the presence of Lyme disease thru an elevated white count?
Elevated WBC count is not specific. It is usually an indication your body is fighting an acute infection. In chronic infection the WBC count may decrease. Depending what is increased in the differential there may be an indication of what type of infection you may be looking at, but borrelia is not one that can be determined this way.
