Bloodtest yes or no?

I'm in the middle of a stressful period right now. I have anxiety for over 2 years and lost my whole life.. I never tested my blood and I always told myself it was mental and nothing physical. Lately I have headaches daily and feel much pressure on my head. Sometimes everything gets blurry around me and I lose my focus. Sometimes I can't even open my eyes properly. My whole sleep rhythm is very bad. I sleep late and I wake up late and sleep for usually for 9 till 10 hours, also on days when I don't do much actually. I take meds(fluoxetine) for my anxiety but it doesn't help, but I don't want to stop just yet in the middle of this stressful period. I never tested my blood in years and I don't know if there is a possibility that there is something wrong with me physically. Is is good to test my blood and is there a possibility that i'm lacking some kind of recourse and that thats the problem why taking the next steps is hard to impossible? I got the letter of my psychologist to test my blood on the following; - Sodium - potassium - creatinine (Gfr?) - Gamma GT - Glucose - Vitamin B1, B6, B12 and D - TSH - sedimentation - hemoglobin - leucocytes - platelets I translated most of these so hopefully they are spelled right. Are there any other things that would be good to check on? Would be very confusing if I lack of something all these years and thats why I cant go further tbh.

,Hi Coto, it would be very wise to get all your bloods checked., you have to rule everything out, I would also get your eyes checked…you will know for sure then, that your dealing with anxiety, x

Are you a man or a woman?

Yeah, I think it would be good to exclude some stuff. I try not to worry so much and always tell myself it is mental in the meantime. Thx for your response.

Young man;)

i am starting prozac as sertraline was horrendous
am hoping prozac works better

Fluoxetine is the same as Prozac only if you didn’t know just yet. In the beginning it have helped me a bit, but now I couldn’t tell. I take the lowest dose, 10mg. I did take 20mg for a while, but then I was feeling worse then ever. I saw things moving around me which where not moving at all. But I think that thats for everyone different. For example I can’t even take alcohol without a panic attack. The positive thing of this medicine is that it isn’t physically addictive. I just can give you as a tip that you need to get started with it open minded. I read a lot of creepy story about prozac, but for example; even paracetamol has that. I should build it up slowly with 10mg and if it doesn’t work after 6 weeks you could go to 20mg. I wish you good luck with this medicine and I hope it will work fantastic for you!

thanx for advice
my gp gave me 20mg of flux to start tomo
i am currently on sertraline 50mg but was on 100mg been reducing to 50 for two weeks
gp told me that from tomo stop altogether the sert and take 20mg of flux i am bit scared as i will have sert still in me
any reasuring advice x

ps was just scared as switching ads just like that
i been on sert for 7 months btw x

i also got my bloods done but it was all ok x

100mg thats a lot! Depends on the person how strong it would work though. A gp is some kind of psychologist or doctor? I think 20mg could be good start for you if you took 100mg of sertraline. I don’t how it works with setraline, but fluoxetine stays around 6 weeks in your blood after you stop taking it. Eventually its your body so you have to make the final decision if you want to take fluoxetine r

right away after you stopped taking sertraline

yeah gp said taper down for two weeks then stop and take flux nxt day x

just scared as dont want yo get to much setoiton in my brain
x
