As shown in the pictures the tip of my penis is blotchy, red and scaly. I have no idea what is causing this mainly because I am not sexually active. I have however been on many courses of antibiotics and accutane over the last few years (for acne) which may have caused this.
I have noticed that the redness becomes more visible during and after masturbation, and is sore/itchy/tingly afterwards too. STI tests carried out so far have been negative (Chlamydia and gonorrhoea), plus I do not experience pain during urination or ejaculation. I also clean my penis everyday with water, and once a week with dermol cream.
If anyone has any diagnosis/treatment advice I would be extremely grateful, many thanks in advance.
I believe this to be isotretinoin/accutane retinoid dermatitis of the urinary meatus and noninfective. The biggest question, are you still using accutane? If you are, I would see if they can switch you to a different kind of acne treatment. If you are not, it may take weeks for things to return to normal.
