Hey I'm on Day 19 of increased dose 20mg citalopram, my eyes feel really tired dry and vision is blurry or hard to focus is anyone else having vision problems?
My heas also feels really wierd, I get random pains and pressure n like a squeezing flexing sensation, infact I can't really explain how it feels other than really wierd and uncomfortable.
I'm also so fatigued it's unreal even though I've been sleeping well
Is anyone else feeling like this? I duno if it's side effects from my meds, anxiety or something else but it's really frightening me and I'm scared I'm always going to feel this way
The side effects are very strange with Citalopram, my doctor advised me that if I felt dizzy to take half in the first two weeks, luckily I didn't experience this yet most of the other side effects I did, speak to your doctor and he/she will advise you what to do, do you drive? if so this could make it very dangerous for you, ask for a telephone consultation with you GP if you can't get an appointment straight away. I have been on them for about a month now and all the side effects have gone, AND i am feeling much better, good luvk :-)
These are known side effects, my GP said could last a few weeks or a couple of months. However in common with many O could barely function on this medication so chose to come of it. Have to do so gradually and did so with her help
She started me on 20mg but feels should have started on 10mg so will try again over the following weeks.
Hi dizzydoll - just seen your post and I am experiencing the exact same side effects you are! I'll have been taking Citalopram for 3 weeks on Monday - I'm so desperate to see an improvement soon, it's driving me insane!
Aww really hun it's awful ain't it I'm at 3weeks now n it's really getting me down, I'm getting headaches now aswel to top it off, but my anxiety is all over the place, msg me wen ever u want hun it's nice to not feel alone in this, I'm on fb too if u want to chat there x
