I am 6 almost 7 months pregnant in two weeks .I recently had unprotected sex about two weeks ago and it was extremely uncomfortable almost unbearable it felt like he had tiny hairs on his penis . It hurt to use the restroom and sit down for the first day and It felt very itchy and it burned. we continued to have unprotected sex about 3 times after that because i figured it was just my body reacting differently to a different partner after not having sex for 6 months. the three three times were still initially uncomfortable but eventually with the help of lube became enjoyable. Fast forward two weeks later, today I was showering and I happened to feel something weird down there it felt like little bumps they don’t hurt at all and I haven’t felt any burning or itching in about a week. even when i did have the burning it only lasted directly after intercourse when i used the restroom. The itching only occurred when i used the ladies room a for about a week. I decided to take a look and when I looked there are visible skin
colored pink bumps on the inside of the bottom half of my inner lips. I’m very concerned that I could have many of the following genital warts another STD flareup or even worse herpes. Should I be worried?

could be hpv, it stays in your body just like herpes does.
is hvp a cause to worry? there is no cure?
looks like hpv. they can be frozen off but not cured.
dont listen to the other comments. the immune system clears HPV on it’s own. warts is nothing like herpes. it’s not forever. your pictures arent clear. those could be herpe blisters. warts dont really cause symptoms.
reoccurences still occur, but like you said, with time they decrease. the same way herpes outbreaks typically decrease. untreated hpv can cause more serious consequences such as cervical cancer. herpes typically doesnt cause more issues other than discomfort. either way the best thing to do is to get tested for all stds so whatever it is, can be treated.
reoccurrences only happen if your body never fought off the virus. it takes 1-2 years for your immune system to fight off hpv. if you’re over 30 then your immune system might not fight it off. hpv isnt like herpes it’s not forever for the majority of people. majority of people’s immune system eliminates the virus. this is fact. google it. ask a doctor. if you go more than 2 years without warts, or an abnormal pap smear, it’s safe to say the virus was eliminated from your body.
the fleshy areas appear to be warts to me. I would consult your doctor as you are pregnant.
