Your primary is not really capable of diagnosing Sjogren's. There is currently no absolute single blood test to use to diagnose this condition. You need to see a specialist with more knowledge of how to deal with this. Have you seen a rheumatologist?
Briefly, it is not uncommon for people with autoimmune conditions, such as Sjögren's Syndrome to experience Dysautonomia. Temperature instability as you describe could fall into this category.
it would be worth reading up on Dysautonomia. Other dysautonomic symptoms are balance problems, POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), GI dysfunction and many more.
You do need to see a Rheumatologist as Margaret has said.
As the other two people that commented said you need to go see a rheumatologist if you're not seeing one already. The rheumatologist is the one who should be treating your fibromyalgia and arthritis anyway.
Hello sharon, I agree about seeing a rheumy but it was actually a Neuro who dx'ed me through blood work and symptoms. I also get freezing/burning up feelings with no fever time to time. Just went though it 2 days ago...but also had an abscess encompassing basically my whole left armpit cut open at the Dr. It is horrible when it happens and I truly feel for you!!!
